Plain Yogurt

I like to have a half cup of plain whole milk yogurt with my breakfast every morning, and I prefer Trader Joe’s Plain Whole Milk Yogurt, but since I moved to the Bella Vista neighborhood I haven’t been getting to Trader Joe’s quite as often any more.

So second choice is Stonyfield yogurt that I can get at Acme—when they have it. Like so many places these days, they don’t seem to keep everything in stock all the time, and the one thing that consistently sells out is the Plain Whole Milk Yogurt. One would think they’d learn.

Anyway, the other week I was in a hurry and I thought I spied two containers of the Plain Whole Milk Yogurt on the shelf, so I grabbed them.

But when I got home I realized my mistake. They were Vanilla, not Plain. For some unknown reason Stonyfield doesn’t do much to differentiate the packaging. I’m usually more careful, but this time I wasn’t. Lesson learned. Perhaps.

Stonyfield yogurt.
