The pain in my shoulders has returned, and I realized it was from relocating those pesky squirrels. They aren’t very heavy, but carrying them in that cage as they jump around wreaks a bit of havoc on the old shoulders.
So when I trapped the seventh squirrel, I initially thought about just releasing it and giving my shoulders a respite.
And then I remembered my shopping cart.
Why not give the squirrel a smooth ride?
Or as smooth a ride as the Philadelphia sidewalks would allow.
It was especially fun when I met someone pushing their toddler in a stroller and I was pushing my squirrel.

I released it in Mario Lanza park again, as that is about as far I’m willing to go. Especially in 80°+ heat with humidity.
