Thick-Crust Sicilian-Style Pizza

It seemed so easy on the video. I mean it only took them eight minutes from start to finish. 

And with these cold temperatures, this seemed like a good time to fire up the oven to 500° F to make a Thick-Crust Sicilian-Style Pizza.

Of course, nothing is ever as easy as it is in the videos.

Between my lack of counter space and my lack of an 18 by 13 inch baking sheet (I didn’t notice that detail until way too late), I encountered all sorts of problems.

But in the end I made half of a pizza according to the recipe and that sauce is so good I think I can use it for spaghetti.
