Busy Day

It’s been a busy day, with more work ahead of me.

I opted not to use Apple’s migration utility but simply configured the new Mac mini from scratch, having forgotten how many little tweaks I make to the settings.

I’ve been copying disks and configuring the new Mac mini, and I had to place a couple last minute overnight orders as I realized I still didn’t have everything that I needed. The last disk is being copied as I write this on Friday afternoon, so with any luck, I should be able to finish up on Saturday morning.

I made a step by step list of things I need to do once all the disk drives are ready.

Mac mini and the TV.

Rather than go into detail about the Mac mini upgrade, I’m offering a Rossini Overture to brighten your day.

It’s his Grand Overture with the subtitle “obbligata à contrabbasso”, an early standalone piece, not written for any opera.
