Once again Young Joseph, the intern at the Classical Gabfest podcast, selected one of my submissions for their Name That Tune game. If you’d like to guess it yourself before listening to the Gabfest, here it is:
By the way, that music, in its orchestral version, was what I used to use for my theme music when I did a classical music program in Harrisburg, PA, back in the late 70s.
I was afraid that Young Joseph had given away the game when he mentioned that all the submissions on this day were from composers of the same nationality, because part of the reason I submitted it was that it doesn’t sound very much like that nationality, as the hosts noted. But they still managed to have a lot of fun.
