I walked over to the Reading Terminal Market specifically to shop at Johnny Yi’s because I wanted to get some soft shelled crabs while they were still in season.

In past years I could count on Johnny Yi to stock them well into June and even a bit longer sometimes.

As I was walking I could taste the savory dishes I might rustle up so I was doubly disappointed when I got there to find no soft shells in sight.
