I’ve had herbs growing in my postage stamp backyard all summer long, and the rosemary bush was still going strong as the temperature finally dropped below the freezing mark.

I had decided to bring it inside to see if it would like it indoors over the winter and I could continue to harvest its delectable leaves.

But UPS was late once again, and delayed the delivery of the 11” pot by a day. UPS always seems to leave me in the lurch. So I brought the whole outside container inside and let it sit in the basement while I waited the extra day for UPS to get its act together.

Which they finally did.

And now the rosemary bush is sitting at the window in my den.
