My electrical usage breakdown from Peco tells me that in the last month my usage was as follows:
$16 Electronics
$3 Refrigeration
$2 Lighting
$58 All Other
I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with that information or even if I believe it.
Take Refrigeration, for example. My Refrigeration usage has been $3 pretty reliably for months both with the old refrigerator and the new. Actually I have two fridges. The main one and a small one that I keep at about 50° F for onions and potatoes. Somehow I don’t believe that my Refrigeration bill is only $3 per month.
Lighting? Well, OK. Nearly all my light bulbs are LEDs that use far less electricity.
Electronics? Let’s see that’s my TV, all my computer type devices including recharging the iPhone and Watch and iPad, right?
But then there’s All Other.
That includes my washer and gas dryer. My gas range. Perhaps my microwave, or is that an electronic device?
I dunno. I just really don’t know what to make of this breakdown, or even if I believe it.
