I Understand…

I understand there was a debate the other night.

I haven’t watched a debate since 1992 when Bill Clinton and senior Bush were running.

I don’t need debates, or should I say “debates”, to decide whom I going to vote for. I believe they’re for the low information voters, you know, the idiots. I find it deplorable that after four years of a narcissistic liar and three plus years of a basically decent man there is anyone at this date who can’t make up their mind between the two of them.

I understand that Biden didn’t do well. In fact he had a terrible time from what I hear.

I understand that a lot of pundits are calling for Biden to drop out of the race.

I understand that the New York Times editorial board has called for Biden to get out of the race.

Well, fuck the New York Times. It’s only a shadow of what it used to be, and the best thing it could do right now is have the owner sell it to someone who actually cares about reporting the truth. And fire most of the current staff.

And most of the pundits aren’t worth a bucket of warm piss as far as I’m concerned.

When Joe Biden was a senator, I didn’t think much of him, nor was I impressed with him as a vice-president.

But ever since he became president, I think he’s been doing a reasonably good job in a very tough situation. I’d say I mostly approve of the job he’s been doing, say about 80 to 90% of the time.

My main beef with him is his handling of Israel, and I don’t think I’d be satisfied with any president’s handling of that situation unless they sent someone to assassinate Netanyahu. But oops, I almost forgot, the United States doesn’t assassinate other country’s leaders, does it? Wink, wink.

If I had an employee who was doing a good job for three plus years and then screwed up for 90 minutes, would I ask him to resign?

Nope.

That’s how I feel about Biden.
