On Saturdays the folks at electoral-vote.com devote their site to a Q&A. They encourage their readers to submit questions and they do their best to answer a sample of them every week.
In addition they print one reader-submitted question each week and ask their readers to provide their own answers, some of which are published the following week.
Last week’s reader-submitted question was: “Which president from history would be the best choice to walk in and put the federal government back on track?”
I don’t usually bother responding to those questions, but in this case an answer just popped into my head and I sent it off, and as it turned out, it was one of the answers that they published yesterday.
If you recall my presidents’ series that I ran last year, you can no doubt guess which president I picked.
I was going to reprint my answer here, but given that in the last couple of months I cribbed from that site several times, I’ve decided not to bother. If you’re interested in what I wrote, just go to https://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2025/Senate/Maps/Feb22.html and scroll down. I am “J.T. in Philadelphia” of course.
You might even find some of the other Q’s & A’s of interest. Such as how soon might the uninformed voters start feeling the pain from what the co-presidents are doing and is the harm they are doing to the country irreparable.
