After seeing the results of the Lancaster County election for state senator, it’s worthwhile taking a look at how that county voted in the presidential election.

A pretty strong result for TCF, it would seem.

Of course, Lancaster County is right next to Lebanon County where I come from; I have many fond memories and I’ve written many pieces about growing up in the borough of Richland. So how did Lebanon County vote in in that election?

Wow! Nearly two to one in favor of TCF. I really don’t have the heart to search for the stats for Richland borough as I probably don’t want to know.

Still it’s instructive to remember some stats about the overall voting total of the US.

There were 244,517,250 people who were eligible to vote in the presidential election. Of those, 89,278,948 did not cast a ballot. There were 77,935,722 who voted for someone other than TCF, and only 77,302,580 who actually voted for the felon. So of the eligible voters, only 31.6% actually voted for that piece of shit.

I’m not sure how that makes me feel. 

By that I mean that I know that some people voted for TCF for incredibly stupid reasons. Yes, I know, one could say any reason for voting for that scumbag is a stupid reason, but he has a base of incredibly hate filled humanoids who are mostly out of touch with reality (they get their news from Fox or Joe Rogan, for example). I’m not talking about them.

I mean the so-called low information voters who were angry about the price of eggs and somehow blamed Joe Biden and somehow thought TCF would lower egg prices. I’m talking about the folks who were angry about Biden’s Middle East policies and thought he wasn’t doing enough to help the Palestinians, so they voted for TCF to teach Biden a lesson. I mean can you get any stupider than that?

So I’m just wondering if many of those non-voters might, in fact, be even lower information and/or even stupider?

I really do believe that the people in this country are among the stupidest on the earth.
