Six Months?

Quote of the day:

When a woman fails, it is much more serious than when a man fails, because the average person attributes that failure not to the individual, but to the fact that she is a woman.
—Eleanor Roosevelt

Six months!

There it is. Emblazoned on the front of the Tide container. The Tide pods are supposed to last six months.

So why do they only last me about four months?

If you read the fine print it says:

Based on 10 loads.

Based on 10 loads/month.

Huh.

I’m a single guy and I do three loads of wash every week. Sometimes four, depending. Three loads times four weeks means I do at least twelve loads of wash every month.

What about a typical family of, say, four? I very much doubt that they could get by on ten loads a month.

Am I missing something? Am I doing too many loads of laundry every week? I’d really like to know.
