Odds and Ends

I have several posts in the works but they all require some research and/or work that I haven’t had time for, so here are a couple of odds and ends.

I’ve been searching for a copy of the one act play “How the Story Grew” for several years, but the only ones I could find were priced beyond what I was willing to pay. As in a hundred dollars and on up. Which seems a bit steep for a play that has long since entered the public domain.

I finally found a copy at a more reasonable price at AbeBooks the other day and it just arrived.

Did I say it was a reasonably priced? It’s barely 20 pages long and practically falling apart, and they wanted 20 bucks for it! It’s little more than a pamphlet.

I finally got that play!.

But at least I have a copy of it now. I’ll have more to say about this in the near future.

I’ve still been watching episodes of The Fugitive and I’m still enjoying them. I’ll have at least one more post, and possibly several more about the show in the near future, but right now I wanted to share one of my favorite scenes. Richard Kimble, aka The Fugitive of the title, generally tries to keep a low profile and doesn’t lose his temper or make waves. But sometimes even he has had enough.
