
Once is not enough apparently as far as Task is concerned.
You may recall that the television series Task, which was broadcast on HBO, did some filming in my neighborhood a couple years ago, although in the finished series, I never was able to identify which scenes those were. I assume that filming must have been done inside one of the houses in the neighborhood.
In any case, there’s going to be a second season of that show, and once again they’re going to be filming in and around the mean streets of Philly. This time some of the shooting will take place near where I used to live, in the Manayunk section of town, which is right next to Wissahickon, my former habitat.
The Inquirer has been good enough to publish a tentative list of the filming schedule.
In this heat and at that distance, I’m not going to even attempt to visit the filming locations, but if someone reading this wants to try, here it is.
