Making Board Games Great Again

This comes via This Week in Freudenfreude.

It seems some enterprising Canadian teenagers have created a game called American Dictator. I can’t imagine where they might have gotten the idea.

American Dictator.

It’s rather like Monopoly but with some interesting differences.

The board is in the shape of a (the?) pentagon.

For example, take a look at some of the cards that come with it instead of the old Chance cards.

Cards for AD 1.

Or these:

Cards for AD 2.

There’s also an expansion pack available if the basic set isn’t enough for you.

Expansion pack.

Who knew that Canadian teens were so clever?

You can order your very own copy here.

But be forewarned. Demand is soaring and they are currently backordered for four weeks.

PS This Week in Schadenfreude: Artist Captures the Soul of Donald Trump is also very good.
