I received a comment on yesterday’s blog post and my first inclination was to reply “Happy to be of assistance.” But then I decided a simple Like was all that was needed. 

But that phrase kept reverberating in my head and there was a musical theme associated with it, but I couldn’t pin it down. Was it from a Rodgers and Hammerstein show? I could sing the first line in my head but couldn’t remember how the rest of it went.

So I tried a web search, but to no avail. Clearly, I had the words wrong, but what were they?

As I wracked my brain for the answer I went through some other classic shows until finally I hit upon The Most Happy Fella. Searching its song list I came upon “Happy To Make Your Acquaintance”.
