Hanging Together

“We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.”
—Benjamin Franklin

Simple advice.

Why can’t the Democrats ever learn it? Or at least some Democrats.

Those Democrats who are publicly calling for Joe Biden to step down, don’t they realize they are weakening him in the process? And if he remains the Democratic candidate, which I hope he does because I don’t think any other potential candidate can win by coming in at this late date, they are hurting the chance to defeat the Republican candidate, which is supposed to be the common goal.

What’s wrong with them?

If they really and truly believe that Biden should step down, and I think they are wrong, but if they sincerely believe that, for the good of the common goal they should be working in the background to convince him, not further weakening him and in the process convincing potential voters not to vote for him.

“I belong to no organized party; I am a Democrat.”
—Will Rogers

Perhaps Biden ought to use his newfound powers that the Supremes just gave him and publicly hang a few of these Democratic traitors. Maybe that’ll bring the rest of them into line.
