It seems that “Donald” is no longer a very popular name for babies.
The name peaked in 1934 when more than 30,400 babies in the United States were given that name, and it remained in the top ten of baby names until 1990.
In 2025 it hit its lowest point, becoming only the 690th most popular baby name.
Probably has something to do with Donald Duck and his declining popularity.
I can’t think of any other reason. Can you?

Netflix has released a five part documentary called The American Experiment.
Executive Producer Tom Hanks and Director Brian Knappenberger have put together a show about the origins of this nation and the principles on which it was founded.
In the process they have interviews with such disparate people as Kamala Harris, Mike Pence, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Ted Cruz, among many others.
For example, they talk to Hillary Clinton about her views on the Electoral College. “Well, I personally think the Electoral College is an abomination. For obvious reasons.”
Did anyone see that coming?
