First up is a recent episode of Wanging On with Graham Norton and Maria McErlane.
Graham has an anecdote about his first show on the BBC being interrupted when the pope died, and then he and Maria field dilemmas from a mother who was snooping on her 17-year-old son’s computer and one that I don’t want to talk about in polite company.

Then on Fresh Air Terry Gross talks to Daniel Liebermann about his book, Fed Up, to find out What evolution reveals about eating, dieting and fat. He’s tested a lot of different diets and has some recommendations.
Last year the American Masters series featured a documentary on Dick Van Dyke, and now in honor of his reaching the milestone 100 years of age, the video has been released in its entirety on YouTube.
Over the weekend, New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani posted videos showing him speaking Mandarin, Bengali, and Spanish to promote giving away free Broadway tickets to high school students, but his accent was so good, that some jerks accused himself of using AI.

Finally, you may or may not have heard about the Senate race in Texas where Republican Ken Paxton is running against Democrat James Talarico. If you don’t live in Texas, you might not care too much about the race, but then again, perhaps you do.
