The other day I found this stuffed in my mailbox.

Dear Residents

Tasker Productions, LLC will be filming scenes for the new streaming series “TASK” in your neighborhood. Filming is currently scheduled for Tuesday, March 20th, subject to change. We will redistribute updated notices should this be the case.

We will be filming interior and exterior scenes on 9th street on the scheduled date. To accomplish our work safely, we will need to intermittently close 9th Street between Catharine Street and Fitzwater Street. The street will remain accessible throughout these brief closures, but during filming there may be momentary delays at our traffic lockups.

To support our trailers and equipment vehicles, we will require select areas of some street parking to be clear. These “No Parking” zones will be indicated by traffic cones. We kindly ask that residents move their vehicles off of the streets indicated below prior to our arrival. Below are the dates and times for these “No Parking” zones:

Tuesday, March 12th, 8:00 PM to Friday March 22nd 6:00PM

East Side of 9th, half a block closer to Catharine between Christian and Catharine.

South Side of Catharine between 9th and Darien.

Tuesday, March 19th, 8:00 PM to Wednesday, March 20th, 10:30 PM

• Both sides of 9th street Fitzwater and Catharine North side of Catherine, between 9th and Percy.

East Side of 9th, half a block closer to Catharine between Christian and Catharine,

BOTH sides of Christian between 9th and 8th streets.

BOTH Sides of Darien between Christian and Catherine.

BOTH sides, East Passyunk between Washington and Kimbal

• ENTIRE parking lot at 7th and Passyunk.

Note that March 20th is Wednesday, not Tuesday.

That particular block of 9th Street has Angelo’s Pizza and Sarcone’s Bakery as well as a barber shop and some attractive houses. A few not so attractive ones as well. Wonder what they’ll be filming there?

A very little digging revealed that these are the same producers that did “Mare of Easttown” a few years ago and that “Task” is starring Mark Ruffalo as a “complicated” FBI agent from Philadelphia.

Hmm. I wonder if Mark is going to be on site on the day of filming? Maybe I should go over there and see if I can make him angry and see what happens.
